Lands of utopia
An exploration of non-places. Starting from screenshots of various corners of the globe (within a visual radius of about 3 kilometers), alternating interventions of generative art and digital painting follow, transforming the initial view into an unknown path to construct abstract patches of imaginary territories. In an era where wars, climate change, and fake news are constant presences in our daily narratives, this work represents an abstract and overtly artificial interpretation of reality; thus, inhabited areas in conflict zones and natural vistas metamorphose into something else, altering the perspective of stories.
